How to Change the Coil in a Magnetic Contactor
Changing the coil in a contactor is a simple procedure that can save you the cost of a new contactor if only the coil is bad, or you want to change the control voltage of the contactor. For example, maybe you purchased a contactor with 120 VAC coil because that was all that is available, but you actually need it to work with a 24 VAC control voltage. You can purchase a 24 VAC coil and then simply swap out the coil.
