WEG ODP close-coupled pump motors are designed to meet demanding pump allications in environments where dirt and humidity are minimal. The open drip-proof design allows for maximal heat dissipation and lighter weight compared to a TEFC (totally-enclosed fan cooled) motor.

This model (--SG) has Aegis Ring bearing protection installed.

This model ('G' in model suffix) has an Aegis ring shaft grounding installed for bearing protection from VFD use.
